Mitsubishi has confirmed the transformation of the Triton Tarmac — previously a limited edition of 140 units — into a fixed catalog version in the 2027 line. Produced in Catalão (GO), the medium pickup maintains its proposal focused on urban and road use, combining 4×2 rear traction and a sporty look. The model is now sold for R$ 264.990, an amount that represents an adjustment of R$ 10 thousand in relation to the old special series.

As a novelty, the definitive line introduces the London Gray color to the bodywork, complementing the palette alongside Tarmac Blue, the shade that debuted the pickup’s visual identity. The aesthetic set receives new 20″ alloy wheels with a diamond face — inheriting the design of the Katana version — shod by 265/50 tires. The exterior also features glossy black details, side sticker on the bed, running boards and a hardtop with electric drive. At night, LED projectors stamp the version’s logo on the street when opening the doors.

The optical set uses full-LED technology. Inside, the dark finish predominates, with leather-covered seats and steering wheel. The 8″ multimedia center makes it possible to mirror cell phones via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. An unusual differential between the pickups in this range is JBL’s premium sound system, which has eight speakers and a subwoofer.

The cabin also offers two-zone digital air conditioning, an instrument panel with a 7″ screen and a system of roof air vents aimed at rear seat occupants. Under the hood, the pickup maintains the 2.4 16V biturbo diesel engine with 205 hp and 47,9 kgfm. It works integrated with a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential sport mode. The exclusive focus on rear-wheel drive favors energy efficiency on the asphalt and agility in speed resumptions.
