The differences of the Tank 300 TerraForce

This limited edition of the GWM Tank 300 features the Zenith gray matte paint, until then absent from the model. The front grille with the model’s name written in full was designed in Brazil, although it is already in use in China.
The wheels are still 18 inches, but in the TerraForce edition they have a different design that simulates beadlocks. A functional rack was installed on the roof that allows different ways to attach objects, its capacity is 75 kg with the car stationary and 50 kg with the car in motion.
Rounding out the aesthetic package is an exclusive spare tire cover and emblems with the edition’s logo on the side, back and interior. The used tires and the mechanical assembly were unchanged.

The TerraForce edition also brought some additional equipment to the Tank 300. The front seats now have ventilation in the backrest, it’s no longer just in the seat, and the driver can choose from eight different types of massage.
Buyers also receive a welcome kit when purchasing the car, with a cap, Kouda thermos, flashlight, bottle opener, leather cover for the manual and a letter signed by the board of directors of GWM Brazil. The owner will also have an exclusive contact in the brand’s customer service.
GWM Tank 300 is old-fashioned SUV with electrification

Boxy-looking SUVs are on the rise in China and many are already arriving in Brazil. However, most only have an off-road look, with the structure being shared with other models more focused on asphalt.
The GWM Tank 300 follows the traditional formula of SUVs, with a ladder-type chassis, rigid axle at the rear and 4×4 traction with reduced. Its plug-in hybrid system uses a motor installed between the automatic transmission and the engine, which uses the transfer case to send power to all four wheels in electric mode.
The model also features locks in the front, rear and center differentials. The electronics can assist with the different modes of the terrain selector, which change parameters to assist the driver according to the floor. Another aid is the tank turn, which brakes the inner rear wheel to reduce the turning circle.

The technical sheet of the GWM Tank 300 brings good attributes for off-road, such as the 32° angle of attack, 33° departure angle, 22.2 cm clearance and 70 cm immersion capacity.
Those who want to improve these capabilities can find items such as BFGoodrich A/T 265/60R18 off-road tires and headlight and taillight protections in GWM’s accessories catalog.
The Tank 300 was the world’s first flex plug-in hybrid car. The engine is a 2.0 turbo, which works together with an electric motor. Together they deliver 394 hp and 76,4 kgf.
The chassis construction also gives the SUV a good towing capacity. It can pull braked trailers up to 2.5 tons or up to 700 kg without brakes.
The jeep is sold with a 5-year warranty with no mileage limit for the car, the hybrid system has coverage of 8 years or 200 thousand km.
