Model made in Iracemápolis (SP) gains flex versions, more power and autonomy; Haval H6 HEV ONE returns as the entry port of the range
GWM started this Tuesday (9) the sale of the 2027 line of the Haval H6, which now has a flex engine in all versions. The novelty makes the Haval H6 the first flex plug-in hybrid produced in Brazil, since another GWM, the Tank 300, is imported.
The range has five versions: HEV ONE, HEV2, PHEV19, PHEV35 and GT. The HEV ONE, which had been discontinued, returns as an entry, for R$ 199.900. The HEV2 costs R$ 225.000; the plug-in PHEV19, PHEV35 and GT cost R$ 250.000, R$ 290.000 and R$ 326.000, respectively.

According to GWM, the flex technology was developed in the country by local engineers in conjunction with the Chinese headquarters and has undergone more than 400 thousand kilometers of tests. The 1.5 turbo engine received new fuel pumps and nozzles, specific spark plugs and an ethanol sensor that adjusts the calibration according to the mixture in the tank. The versions also debut DHT transmissions — two-speed in the HEV ONE, HEV2 and PHEV19, and four-speed in the PHEV35 and GT.
The brand claims to have gains in power, autonomy and consumption. The HEV ONE and HEV2 now deliver 248 hp and 54,6 kgfm, with 0 to 100 km/h in 7,6 seconds. The PHEV19 adds 326 hp and the same 54,6 kgfm, while PHEV35 and GT reach 393 hp and 65,5 kgfm. The numbers are valid with ethanol or gasoline, according to the company.

In electric autonomy, the PHEV19 now travels up to 77 km through Inmetro’s PBEV cycle, compared to 73 km. PHEV35 and GT reach 126 km by the same standard and up to 180 km by WLTP. In consumption, the manufacturer cites 15,8 km/l in the city with gasoline in the HEV versions, against 14,7 km/l of the previous generation.
The adoption of flex also has a tax effect: in São Paulo, flex hybrids of up to R$ 261,154.45 are exempt from IPVA in 2026, which covers part of the line. The batteries have 1.53 kWh in the HEV versions, 19 kWh in the PHEV19 and 35 kWh in the PHEV35 and GT.
