Strategy seeks to offer flexibility to the luxury public and allows the accumulation of miles in high-value transactions
Volvo do Brasil has made official a strategic change in its commercial policy by accepting credit cards as a form of payment for the purchase of zero-km vehicles. The measure, in force since the second half of March, includes all dealerships in the network in the national territory and covers the six models that make up the current portfolio of the Swedish manufacturer in the Brazilian market.
With the new guideline, the electric EX30, EX40, EC40 and EX90, as well as the XC60 and XC90 hybrids, are now eligible for the transaction. The option appears as an alternative or complement to traditional modalities, such as financing and consortium, offering an extra layer of convenience for consumers in the premium segment.

According to Christian Sahd, sales director at Volvo Car Brazil, the initiative meets a recurring demand from customers for greater flexibility in closing the deal. The success of the measure was immediate: company data indicate that about 50% of buyers have opted for the use of the card since the operation began.
In addition to simplifying the payment process, the modality attracts the public due to the potential for secondary benefits, such as the accumulation of points and miles in loyalty programs — a common advantage in high-end cards. Volvo points out that acceptance is subject to the commercial conditions in force at each unit in the network.
Currently, the brand maintains one of the most aggressive electrification strategies in the country. The portfolio is divided between four fully electric models and two plug-in hybrids.
