French automaker Peugeot has announced a new aggressive commercial campaign aimed exclusively at taxi drivers and app drivers interested in purchasing zero-kilometer vehicles. The sales action, which extends until June 19, covers the Allure T200 AT versions of the 208 and 2008 models. Combining the manufacturer’s own incentives with the government tax exemptions of IPI and ICMS, the rebates can reach the expressive mark of R$ 57,368, depending on the buyer’s profile and their legal framework.

The biggest nominal discount is on the Peugeot 2008 Allure T200 AT. For taxi professionals who have the legal right to total tax exemption, the list price plummets from R$ 168,990 to R$ 111,622. App drivers and taxi drivers who operate without tax exemptions are also included in the program, being able to purchase the SUV for R$ 133,333.

To attract the professional who spends long hours behind the wheel, the model bets on comfort and mechanical efficiency in urban traffic. The vehicle is equipped with the 1.0 turbo flex engine, coupled to the CVT automatic transmission that simulates seven gears, delivering 130 hp and 20,4 kgfm. The utility’s equipment list also includes a trunk with 419 liters of capacity, 17″ diamond wheels, LED optics and the i-Cockpit cabin arrangement.

The discount policy also applies to the Peugeot 208 Allure T200 AT hatch. The compact, originally priced at R$ 126,990, is now sold for R$ 92,440 for taxi drivers with approved tax exemption documentation. For drivers of mobility apps and taxi drivers without government benefits, the model leaves the concessionaire for R$ 111,624.

Sharing the same mechanical set as its bigger brother (1.0 Turbo engine and 20,4 kgfm), the hatch directs its focus to connectivity. The cabin has a 10.3-inch multimedia center with wireless mirroring, digital panel and driving assistance package. According to Peugeot’s management, the current offers work as a strategic anticipation of the conditions that will be driven by the Move Brasil Program, a BNDES credit line designed for mobility professionals, scheduled to start operating in mid-June.
