GWM Brasil expanded the Wey 07 line with the Dark Edition version, which bets on an exclusive look and sophisticated finish to target the luxury public. Already on sale at dealerships for R$ 432 thousand, the plug-in hybrid SUV maintains the mechanical set of the conventional version – 517 hp and 83,6 kgfm – but gains a sportier and more refined identity.

On the outside, the bodywork is all black, with exclusive 21-inch wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, the darkened proposal is maintained, with black coatings on the roof and columns and Alcantara finish.

Under the hood, the model combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with two independent electric motors, one on each axle, under the Hi4 intelligent all-wheel drive. The set accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. The 42.5 kWh battery guarantees a range of up to 128 km in electric mode by Inmetro — or 185 km in the WLTP cycle —, and the DHT transmission offers modes for different terrains.

With a length of 5.15 m and a wheelbase of 3.05 m, the Wey 07 Dark Edition accommodates up to six occupants. The trunk goes from 239 liters, with all rows in use, to 1,040 liters with the third fold. The seats in the first two rows have heating, ventilation and massage, and the front has a zero-gravity position. There is also three-zone air conditioning, a thermal box on the console and electric side running boards.

The technological package brings together a 14.6-inch multimedia center, 12.3-inch digital panel, head-up display, sound with 16 speakers and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in addition to remote access through the My GWM app. In safety, there are 22 sensors at the service of level 2+ semi-autonomous driving, with autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, automatic parking, 540° panoramic view and driver fatigue monitoring.
