With the GS3 and GS4 SUVs and the electric vehicles of the Aion family, GAC offers special conditions and helps in the exemption of IPI, ICMS and IPVA to the professional public
GAC started to direct taxi drivers and people with disabilities (PwD) a line of six models in Brazil, with combustion and electric options and prices starting at R$ 126,990. The offer includes support from the dealership network to obtain tax exemptions — a strategy with which the Chinese brand seeks to expand its presence in segments of intensive use of the vehicle, such as professional transport.
The portfolio aimed at this audience brings together the GS3 combustion SUV, in Premium and Elite versions, and the GS4 Premium. Among those electrified are the Aion UT hatchback, also in Premium and Elite, the Aion ES urban sedan, 100% electric, and the Aion Y, offered in the same two configurations and pointed out by the brand as the one with the largest interior space in the family. The proposal for the segment bets on the low cost of operation of electric models and on-board connectivity, arguments aimed at those who drive many kilometers a day and use the car as a work tool.
The values announced for the program range from R$ 126.990, in GS3 Premium, to R$ 167.990, in Aion Y Elite. They are below the brand’s regular table — the GS3 Premium line starts at R$ 139.990, compared to R$ 126.990 in the offer to the segment. GAC does not inform, in the statement, whether the prices already consider the tax exemptions to which this public is entitled.

The GS3 is the flagship of the combustion operation. The SUV employs a 1.5 turbo engine with 170 hp and 25,5 kgf·m of torque, associated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8,1 seconds, according to the manufacturer. The consumption measured by Inmetro reaches 11.6 km/l on the highway.

For eligible customers, GAC offers guidance throughout the dealership network to access the tax benefits provided for by law, including IPI, ICMS and IPVA exemptions, granted according to the criteria of the competent agencies. “We are building a brand guided by the real needs of consumers, with vehicles that combine technology, efficiency and comfort,” says Eduardo Sato, commercial director of GAC Brazil.
Present in more than 100 countries, GAC is a subsidiary of the Chinese group Guangzhou Automobile and surpassed the mark of 2 million vehicles sold worldwide in 2024. In Brazil, the bet on taxi drivers and PwD audiences is part of the company’s expansion plan in channels with higher sales volume.
