Toyota officially launched this Tuesday (14) the new generation of the Toyota RAV4 in Brazil, which hits the market in two full hybrid versions — S and SX — with prices starting at R$ 317.190. With relevant changes in design, technology and mechanical assembly, the model adopts the brand’s new visual identity, brings a structurally improved platform, debuts electronic architecture with remote updates and receives the fifth generation of the full hybrid system with all-wheel drive. Built on the TNGA platform, the New Toyota RAV4 received structural reinforcements to increase rigidity and reduce vibrations. The suspension has been recalibrated and there are new electronic systems aimed at stability, such as cooperative steering control and brakes with on-demand actuation.

In aesthetics, the SUV adopts Toyota’s latest visual language, with emphasis on the “Hammerhead” style front, with more angular lines and a raised posture. The 20-inch wheels are standard on all versions.
In addition to the aesthetic appeal, the project also prioritizes functionality. The brand claims to have reduced interior noise by up to 8%, while changes in the position of the seats and expansion of the glazed areas improve visibility and the feeling of space in the cabin.

The cabin has received significant updates, with emphasis on the 12.3-inch digital panel and the multimedia center that can reach 12.9 inches in the SX version. The system features a new interface, wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and integration with the instrument panel. The whole design has become more geometric compared to the previous version.

Another highlight is the head-up display with tilted projection and three viewing modes, as well as practical solutions such as dual induction chargers, modular storage compartments and panoramic roof in the most complete version.

The mechanical assembly is formed by a 2.5 gasoline engine combined with three electric motors, including one dedicated to the rear axle. This guarantees all-wheel drive (AWD) and combined power of 239 hp.

According to Inmetro, consumption is 15.3 km/l in the city and 14.1 km/l on the highway, always with gasoline. The model also has adjustable driving modes and an EV function for short trips in all-electric mode.
The Toyota RAV4 now has Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, which includes features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistant and adaptive high beams.
Also present are items such as a 360° camera, blind spot monitor, cross traffic alert and safe exit assistant.
Toyota highlights the cost of maintenance as one of the attractions of the model. The first revision costs R$ 559, with fixed values in the following revisions. The extended warranty program is for up to 10 years, subject to the revisions being carried out in the authorized network.
