Licensing 2026: Detran PR releases calendar and how to pay TRLAV

Drivers across the country must annually renew the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV). This occurs automatically with the payment of the Motor Vehicle Property Tax (IPVA) and the Annual Vehicle Licensing Renewal Fee (TRLAV). The Paraná Traffic Department (Detran-PR) has already released the dates and values of the 2026 licensing.

Once paid, the new document can be accessed through the CNH do Brasil application, the service portal of the National Traffic Secretariat (Senatran) or the Detran website.

2026 licensing schedule in Paraná

The DMV-PR has established the TRLAV payment schedule that varies according to the end of the vehicle’s license plate:

For the process to be complete and the driver to be able to issue the CRLV, in addition to paying the fee, it is necessary that he has also paid the IPVA and all traffic fines and pending issues associated with the vehicle.

How To Pay For PR Licensing 2026

Since 2020, the CRLV has been issued in digital format. After paying the fee in the banking system, the document can be issued on the Detran website, in PIÁ, in the Detran InteliGente application or at the service units.

It can also be accessed through the federal government’s CNH do Brasil application or through Senatran’s service portal.

On the Detran website

1. Access the Detran PR website;
2. Click on Issue;
3. Enter the Renavam number;
4. Follow the next guidelines.

By PIÁ

1. Complete your PIÁ registration;
2. Log in, with CPF and cell phone (you can also access PIÁ with email, digital certificate or gov.br account);
3. Issue the payment slip (no need to enter other data)

Attention! If you do not have a PIÁ registration, click on Issue, inform the Renavam number and follow the guidelines.

In the Detran InteliGente application:

1. Download the Detran InteliGente app from the Play Store or App Store.
2. Enter the Renavam number and follow the step-by-step instructions shown in the app.

How to access the CRLV 2026

It is possible to issue your car document from the CNH do Brasil app (former Digital Transit Card – CDT), simply:

1. Download the CNH do Brasil on your cell phone;
2. Log in to Gov.br;
3. Select the “Vehicles” menu and choose the “Register CRLV” field;
4. Fill out the form;
5. Create your access key (4-digit password) to access the app;
6. Click on the CRLV-e download button

Fine for late licensing

According to the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB), driving with an expired CRLV is a very serious infraction, with a fine of R$ 293.47 and seven points on the National Driver’s License (CNH).
