GAC has anticipated the upgrade of the Hyptec HT electric SUV in the Brazilian market. Less than a year after the debut of the Hyptec HT, its 2027 line arrives at dealerships with substantial improvements in the mechanical assembly and energy storage capacity, maintaining the original visual identity to focus on the technical competitiveness of the premium SUV segment.

In the mechanical part, the engine has been recalibrated and now delivers 340 hp and 43,8 kgfm. The added power results in more agile performance, reducing the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h from 6.8 to 5.8 seconds, repositioning the vehicle in front of its direct rivals.

The storage system has also been resized. The utility adopts a new 83 kWh battery, which increases the autonomy approved by Inmetro from 362 km to 431 km. The main structural evolution is the transition to an 800-volt electrical architecture. The technology increases the thermal efficiency of the set and enables ultra-fast recharge cycles, allowing 30% to 80% of the charge to be recovered in about 15 minutes at direct current (DC) stations.

Chassis specifications remain unchanged. The model is 4.93 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2.93 meters and a load capacity of 670 liters in the rear trunk. The standard equipment package includes a 14″ multimedia center, remote software updates (OTA) and advanced driver assistance package (ADAS), with adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking and blind spot monitoring.

The Hyptec HT 2027 is offered in two configurations. The access version, Elite, has a suggested price of R$ 314.990. The top-of-the-line option, Ultra, which differs by the vertical opening system of the rear doors, is sold for R$ 369.990.
