In this group we have the host USA playing against Turkey, Paraguay and Australia, three of these countries have pickup trucks at the top of the sales ranking
The USA is one of the three host countries of the 2026 World Cup. It is in group D, along with Paraguay, Australia and Turkey. Coincidentally, three of them have pickup trucks as best-selling cars.
Both the US and Turkey have an automobile industry, Australia had one in the past but today it only imports. But there is still Ford engineering there, just like in Brazil.

Ford pickup trucks have been the best-selling cars in the U.S. for decades. The current F-Series maintains this reign by offering everything from works versions to luxury models, including the sporty F-150 Raptor, the Tremor off-road line and the PowerBoost hybrids.
Ford currently produces some exclusive engines for its pickup trucks, such as the V8 Godzilla in versions 6.8 and 7.3. The Super Duty line can come with a 6.7 turbodiesel V8 with 507 hp and 122 kgfm. Here we have proof of this with the F-150, which only comes with the V8 Coyote 5.0 gasoline.

Paraguay is one of the countries in South America that has never had an automobile industry. Therefore, import taxes are low and the biggest demand in the market is imported used cars, which account for 60% of vehicle sales.
Among the 38,611 new cars sold there, the most successful is the Toyota Hilux. The pickup comes imported from Argentina, which is right next door.

Ford has a very rich history in Australia and for years had an exclusive sedan for the country, the Falcon. Today it maintains an engineering center there and imports the vehicles.
The country’s best-selling car is the Ford Ranger, which was designed in Australia for the global market. We illustrate here with the Super Duty version, with more cargo capacity and for off-road, which for now is exclusive to its home country.

Turkey produces cars for some big brands, such as Fiat, Renault, Toyota, Ford and Hyundai. We have even received vehicles made there, such as the first Ford Transit, and Toyota imports components from this country.
Turkey’s best-selling car in 2025 was the Renault Clio, which is now only produced in that country. The hatch received a new generation that has been highly praised by specialized critics and, apparently, by the public.
