The second of the 12 groups of the 2026 World Cup is very diverse, with countries from three continents. This is reflected in their automotive market, where the best-selling cars are different.
Group B is made up of Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar and Switzerland. We list below which cars were the best sellers in each country during 2025.

Canada, like the USA, has the market dominated by large pickup trucks. The best-selling car there was the Ford F Series, which includes the F-150, F-250, F-350 and F-450.
If you exclude pickup trucks, the best-selling vehicle was the Toyota RAV4. In 2025, 1.9 million cars were sold in Canada, a volume similar to that of Brazil.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a young country, which was part of Yugoslavia and became independent in 1992. The 2026 World Cup is the second that the country will participate, the first was in the 2014 edition.
The best-selling car there is the Škoda Octavia, a medium sedan from Volkswagen’s Czech division. It is the size of the Jetta and has good cost/benefit within the European market. It is also sold in the body of a station wagon.

Qatar is also in its second participation in a World Cup, the first was in 2022 when the country hosted the event. The country’s history is not the best and the team has many naturalized athletes.
As in other countries in the region, the best-selling car in Qatar is the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. This is the most recent generation of the utility, which had the lineage divided between more rustic jeeps and luxurious SUVs, but without losing robustness.

Switzerland is the country with the most participations in the football World Cup within group B. Its best result was having reached the quarterfinals in 1934, 1938 and 1954.
The best-selling car in Switzerland in 2025 was the Volkswagen Tiguan. The European version of the SUV is smaller than the one sold in Brazil, with a size closer to the Taos, and has hybrid options available.
