Honda sold more than 1 million motorcycles in the first eight months of 2026, a historical record for the first time in the period of the first eight months of the year – January to August. There were 1.03 million units registered in the period, against 943 thousand in the same period of 2025 – an increase of 9% and the best performance ever achieved by the company until August.

The result maintains Honda’s leadership in the segment and coincides with the year in which the manufacturer completes five decades of production in the country.

The growth came from entry-level models, which account for the largest share of sales. The CG family led, with more than 362 thousand registrations, followed by Biz125 (more than 180 thousand), Pop110i ES (more than 168 thousand) and NXR160 Bros (more than 132 thousand).

According to Marcos Bento, Head of Commercial at Honda Motos, the performance reflects the brand’s dealership network, portfolio, financing solutions and after-sales.

This historic result demonstrates the assertiveness of the strategies for the Brazilian market,” said the executive.
