Yamaha updated a good part of its 2027 lineup in Brazil at once, but with very different weights from bike to bike. Fazer FZ15, Crosser, R3 and TT-R 230 have undergone revisions ranging from concrete novelties — such as Full LED lighting and Bluetooth connectivity — to cosmetic changes, such as models that only gained new colors and graphics. The common denominator is the extended warranty and Fixed Price Review package that the brand applies to the range.
None of the four has changed the engine, chassis or proposal. They are model year updates, not new generations.
The two entry-level naked/trail were the ones that evolved the most. The Fazer FZ15 ABS Connected 2027 now has full LED lighting — headlight with projector, position light, turn signals and taillight — in addition to a side stand switch, which prevents the bike from riding with the stand down. It also gained new colors (Hyper Green, Space Blue and Crystal White) and graphics.
The Fazer maintains the 150 cm³ BlueFlex engine, with a five-speed gearbox, 11.7 hp at 7.250 rpm on ethanol (11.6 hp on gasoline) and 1.3 kgf.m at 6.000 rpm. The 11.9-liter tank yields a declared autonomy of about 590 km, according to a test by the Mauá Institute of Technology. “Blackout” digital panel, connectivity via Yamaha Motor On app and 12V outlet complete the package. It costsR$ 21.490, without shipping.
The Crosser ABS went further: in addition to the LED turn signals (which complete the Full LED lighting), it debuts Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha Motor On, which it didn’t have before, becoming Crosser ABS Connected. It also received the side stand switch and new graphics. Through the app, the rider tracks average consumption, trip history, maintenance schedule and the bike’s last pairing location.
The entry-level trail runs in two versions. The Crosser S ABS Connected has an urban footprint, with a low front fender and a black engine and scale. The Crosser Z ABS Connected bets on the most adventurous look, with a high fender and a silver engine. Both use the same 150 cm³ BlueFlex engine, here with 11.7 hp in ethanol (11.4 hp in gasoline) and 1.3 kgf.m, and a 12-liter tank for more than 500 km of autonomy (43.1 km/l in the Mauá test).
The Crosser S costs R$ 22.890 (Black Eclipse and Fire Red colors) and the Crosser Z, R$ 23.090 (Pure Gray and Fire Red colors), both without shipping. Both hit stores in September.
Yamaha R3 and TT-R 230 have changed only in appearance
On the other two bikes, the 2027 line is basically aesthetic. The R3 ABS Connected, a sports R-Series, gained only new graphics options. It continues with the 321 cm³, eight-valve, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder, which delivers 41.3 hp at 10.750 rpm and 3 kgf.m at 9.000 rpm, in addition to an assist and slipper clutch, Full LED, digital panel and Bluetooth connectivity. It comes in Midnight Black and Racing Blue colors (the latter with the new graphics) for R$ 37.490, without shipping. It is the only one in the line with a four-year warranty.
The TT-R 230, entry-level off-road, also only changed clothes: new graphics inspired by the YZ and WR competition, in the color Competition Blue. It maintains the 223 cm³ air-cooled, four-stroke engine, with electric start and six-speed gearbox, disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear, 21″ and 18″ wheels and 115 kg with fluids. It costs R$ 20.590, without shipping or insurance.
All have a three-year warranty and Fixed Price Review, except for R3, with four years.
