BMW F 450 GS costs R$ 75 thousand in Argentina: in Brazil it will be cheaper!

The BMW F 450 GS has been the most anticipated motorcycle by enthusiasts of the brand since the end of 2025, when it was launched worldwide. Still without an official arrival date in Brazil — as much as it was presented at the Interlagos Festival 2026 — in Argentina the story is different, as the model has just been announced in the country in four different versions.

The hermanos may have won on time, but, as those who laugh last laugh best, it is very likely that here it will reach more affordable values.

In Argentina, the new BMW F 450 GS starts at US$ 14.600 and reaches US$ 15.600. In direct conversion, these values are equivalent to R$ 74.499,49 and R$ 79.602,20, considering the current value of the currency.

Cheapest in Brazil

In the Brazilian market, the BMW F 800 GS fits as the brand’s first model above the F 450 GS and costs R$ 69.990. Under these conditions, it is deductible that the model, when it arrives in Brazil, will be cheaper than in Argentina, where it costs almost R$ 75 thousand.

To further adjust the price, it can be considered that the G 310 GS, which is still sold here, has a public price of R$ 42.990. That is, the new F 450 GS will cost between R$ 42 thousand and R$ 69 thousand.

The BMW F 450 GS will be nationalized

As already announced by the German, the BMW F 450 GS will be manufactured at the Manaus (AM) plant, in Brazil. This nationalization is one of the reasons for the more affordable prices compared to the neighboring country, which imports models directly from Germany.

The BMW plant in Manaus turns 10 in 2026 and is a source of pride for being the only one outside Germany dedicated to the exclusive production of motorcycles.

The new BMW F 450 GS debuted on the world market with a 420 cm³ twin-cylinder engine, 48 hp and 4.3 kgfm, in addition to declared consumption of 3.8 l/100 km and a proposal aimed at mixed and off-road use.

The trail has a tubular steel frame, KYB suspensions, Brembo brakes and 19-inch wheels at the front and 17 at the rear, a set that seeks to offer more off-road capability than the old G 310 GS.

The electronic package includes riding modes, traction control, ABS Pro in curves and a 6.5-inch TFT panel with connectivity, as well as a quickshifter and ERC automated clutch in some versions.

In Argentina, four different versions were also announced: the entry-level Basic, aimed at everyday urban use, with alloy wheels and essential features; the Exclusive, focused on travel comfort, by adding a bubble, windshield, protectors, start assistant and quickshifter as standard; the Sport, which maintains the comfort items of the Exclusive, but is differentiated by a suspension set optimized for greater stability and an aggressive red paint; and the top-of-the-line GS Trophy, made for heavy off-roading, which features graphics inspired by the R 1300 GS, tubeless spoked wheels, fully adjustable sports suspension and the innovative Easy Ride (ERC) automatic clutch system.
