The Honda Pop 110i ES 2027 has just been officially launched. The model, which reaches the fifth generation, has undergone significant changes, but without changes in its motor and structural base. Now with an alloy wheel, tubeless tire, rear brake activated by a lever on the left handlebar, optional USB charger and updated design, the model now costs R$ 10.588 — R$ 200 more than the previous variant.

AutoPapo had early access to the product and took a closer look at all the changes. We also tested the model that, with the geometric adjustment, had a more efficient chassis.

Detailing the model, it is possible to see that this fifth generation, although redesigned in its fairings, is very similar to the last one. In fact, the Honda Pop has never had such drastic changes in its composition.

Still, it only takes a little attention to realize that the design is sportier. The return of the side graphics to the classic Japanese wings and the side diffusers incorporated into the fairing are the biggest highlights. The Honda logo on the front has also changed, becoming simpler and accompanying the side symbol. In other aspects, the model remains like the previous generation.

Dimensions, chassis, technology and performance

Although the Honda Pop 110i ES 2027 has kept the same engine (tuned in the 2025 version), single-cylinder, air-cooled, OHC, capable of 109.5 cm³ of displacement, 8.43 hp at 7.250 rpm of maximum power and 0.945 kgf.m at 5.000 rpm of peak torque, structural aspects have changed.

Honda left the spokes aside and started to equip the model exclusively with alloy wheels. According to the manufacturer, this is a strong demand from consumers, as they are more resistant, require less maintenance and are easier to clean.

The tires have followed the evolution and are now tubeless. At the front, there was also an increase in dimensions, making it more “rubbery” and efficient against impacts. The Michelin Pilot Street 2 and Vipal Street ST300 tires, in sizes 70/90-17, were approved by the brand (the previous ones measured 60/100-17).

To keep up with the substantial change in wheels and tires, the front suspension was recalibrated and the rear gained 3 mm of travel. Now, they are 100 mm and 86 mm, respectively.

Highlight for the return of the lever on the left handlebar. However, unlike the 2024 and previous variants, it does not come as a clutch lever, but as a rear brake. According to Honda, the change is important to reduce the driver’s reaction time while riding, making the model safer.

All these changes to the wheels, suspensions and even the brake also changed the dimensions of the model, which became slightly taller and wider. In practice, they made the bike more agile, with better cornering performance and easier to ride.

Another important update is the left side port prepared for the installation of a 3A/15W USB-C charger. Although it does not come from the factory, the item can be installed at the time of purchase, at the brand’s authorized dealerships.

In other aspects, the Honda Pop 110i ES remains as in the previous version, characterized by electric start and four-speed rotary transmission. This box allows the rider to move, for example, from 4th to neutral and continue changing to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, N, 1st, 2nd… and so on. This makes it easier in some situations and prevents the bike from “dying” by accident, as the model does not have a lever-operated clutch. It is important to note that the bike does not start if it is not in neutral and also does not change from 4th gear to neutral while in motion, avoiding possible accidents.

On board the Pop 2027, the changes highlighted by the brand have been proven. Although nothing too abrupt, in fact the model is more agile, and cornering confidence surpasses the previous variant.

The geometric adjustment has improved driving for those who are taller, without harming those who are shorter. After all, the model is only 747 mm tall.

The brakes located only on the grips really make the bike easier to stop. Even though it’s just a change of position, for this model — simpler and inspired by a bicycle — the adjustment proves interesting.

Price, colors and warranty

The Honda Pop 110i ES 2027 will be available at Honda dealerships from May. The warranty is three years, with no mileage limit, in addition to free Pro Honda oil in seven revisions (the supply is valid from the 3rd revision). The maintenance interval is 6.000 kilometers or six months after the first revision, which should occur with 1.000 kilometers or six months.

The available color options are red, white and blue. The suggested public price, based on São Paulo (SP), which does not include freight or insurance expenses, is R$ 10,588.
