Growth in registrations reinforces the dominance of urban motorcycles and intensifies the dispute between manufacturers in the country
The ranking of the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil in 2026 gained new contours with the updated numbers for March. After a positive start to the year, the Brazilian motorcycle market continues to expand, with an increase in registrations and maintenance of the prominence of low-engine motorcycles.
According to data from Fenabrave, the sales volume continues to be concentrated in models for urban use, which is customary and reinforces the leadership among the best-selling motorcycles in the country.

In this scenario, Honda maintains an absolute hegemony. The CG 160 continues as the best-selling motorcycle in Brazil, with more than 121 thousand units in the year to date and a share of more than 55% in the City category. The model also extended its advantage in March, reinforcing its position at the top among the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil.
Among the naked/roadster motorcycles, the leadership remains with Yamaha’s MT-03. The model has 2,256 units in 2026 and remains ahead in the ranking of the best-selling motorcycles in the category.

Even so, the segment is experiencing one of the most competitive moments in the market. Bajaj stands out by occupying several positions in the top 10, with models such as Dominar D400, NS400Z and NS160. The brand’s strategy has boosted its presence among the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil.
Another highlight among the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil is the performance of Royal Enfield, which remains strong in the custom and maxtrail categories, but is also starting to attract attention with new products.
One of the relevant points is the advance of the Bear 650, which showed significant sales in its first month after launch and already appears among the best-selling models in the custom category.
In addition, the Hunter 350 continues to lead among customs, while Himalayan remains well positioned in maxtrail, keeping the brand in evidence in the ranking of best-selling motorcycles.

The data reinforces that urban motorcycles continue to be the main driver of the market. Among the best-selling motorcycles, categories such as City and Scooter/Cub concentrate most of the registrations.
In the scooter line, Honda remains dominant with Biz and Pop 110i, which increased their volumes in March and remain among the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil with a wide advantage.
This behavior reflects the profile of the Brazilian consumer, who prioritizes economy, low maintenance cost and practicality in everyday life, whether for personal or professional use.
Even with Honda’s consolidated leadership, the ranking of the best-selling motorcycles in Brazil shows an increasingly competitive market in 2026.
Brands such as Bajaj, Royal Enfield, Haojue, Triumph and especially Shineray – which today is the third brand in the country and continues to grow exponentially – gradually expand their participation and gain space in different categories, increasing the dispute between manufacturers. The classic and well-liked BMW, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Harley Davidson continue with their slice of the pie, but focused on more luxurious and smaller niches.
With the advance in sales throughout the first quarter and the expectation of new launches, the trend is that the ranking of the best-selling motorcycles will continue to move in the coming months, following the growth of the sector in the country.
