The SHI 170 is equipped with a 169.3 cm³, four-stroke, two-valve single-cylinder engine and simple overhead camshaft (SOHC), with air cooling and electronic injection. Even a little larger than those of direct competitors, the engine delivers 13,59 hp at 8,000 rpm and torque of 1,17 kgfm at 7,200 rpm, within the expected standard for the category. The transmission is a five-speed manual, with an oil-bathed multi-plate clutch and chain drive.

In the chassis, the motorcycle adopts a conventional telescopic fork at the front, with 100 mm travel, while the rear has two 60 mm shock absorbers. The braking system combines a 240 mm front disc with hydraulic actuation and a 130 mm rear drum, in addition to a CBS system, which distributes braking between the wheels.
Aimed at everyday use, the SHI 170 has a load capacity of up to 150 kg and a fuel tank of 12.5 liters, including 3 liters in reserve.

Among the highlights, the model incorporates full LED lighting at all points and a digital panel. Connectivity is one of the differentials, with a Bluetooth system that allows media navigation by commands on the handlebars, in addition to USB-A and USB-C inputs for charging mobile devices.
The Shineray SHI 170 can now be found on the brand’s official website.
