Orders start this Friday (15); Deliveries of the new units of the 265 hp sports hatch are scheduled for 2026
Volkswagen starts, this Friday (15), the second batch of reservations for the new Golf GTI in Brazil. After the success of the initial pre-sale phase, the German manufacturer reopens orders for the sports hatch, priced at R$ 430 thousand and maintaining the delivery forecast of the units for the course of 2026.
The confirmation took place shortly after the official delivery of the first 80 units, held during the VW Legends Driving Experience event at the Velocitta Autodrome, in Mogi Guaçu (SP). On the occasion, the brand consolidated the “Legends” line, which includes performance models such as the Jetta GLI and the Nivus GTS, reinforcing the manufacturer’s emotional appeal among Brazilian enthusiasts.

The model, which marks the return of the icon in its restyled version (Mk 8.5), is equipped with the 2.0 TSI engine with 265 hp and 37,7 kgfm. The mechanical set, combined with the automated dual-clutch transmission, reaffirms the Golf GTI’s position as a benchmark in the “hot hatch” segment, surpassing the performance figures of previous generations produced locally.

To ensure exclusivity and curb the action of dealers, Volkswagen maintains strict criteria for acquisition: each interested party may register only one order per CPF or CNPJ. In addition, the company applies a priority system for customers who already have the group’s sports models in the reservation selection process.
New owners will have immediate access to the GTI Experience Club. The loyalty program offers benefits that go beyond vehicle ownership, including invitations to track events, partnerships with luxury brands, and exclusive dining experiences for the owner community.
