In partnership with Sogeclair, the automotive giant's design studio unveils cabin with "silent technology" and residential finish
Stellantis Design Studio and engineering firm Sogeclair unveiled VISTA, a new premium cabin concept for commercial aircraft, during the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026 in Hamburg. The project is a technical demonstrator that seeks to transpose the luxury experience of the automotive and residential furniture sector to aviation, with a focus on ergonomics and passenger-centric functionality.
The proposal is differentiated by the application of “soft tech”, a philosophy of technological integration where digital resources act discreetly, revealing themselves only when requested. According to the companies, the goal is to reduce sensory overload and provide a cleaner and more relaxing environment during the flight, raising the standard of comfort in commercial cabins to the level of executive aviation.

Among the innovations introduced by VISTA is the MiniSuite, an ecosystem that combines intelligent storage and privacy solutions. The interior design moves away from traditional industrial forms, adopting smooth lines and noble materials such as wood and leather.
While VISTA is a conceptual design, it serves as a showcase of solutions that can be adopted by airlines and manufacturers in the coming years. The sober color palette and adaptive lighting complement the attempt to transform the aircraft’s interior into an extension of high-end residential environments, prioritizing calm over the visual noise common on long-haul flights.
