Leapmotor, a partner of the Stellantis group, has made official the launch of the T03 LCV, a cargo variant of its electric compact aimed at the light commercial vehicle segment. Designed to meet the growing demand for “last mile” logistics in emission-constrained urban centers, the model adapts the structure of the passenger car for professional transport.

At 3.62 meters long, the van replaces the rear seat with a flat cargo area, isolated by a safety grille. The configuration offers a volumetric capacity of 657 liters and a payload of up to 220 kg. Such specifications aim to streamline delivery operations in narrow roads and central areas, where the circulation of larger utilities is limited by infrastructure or local legislation.

The mechanical set consists of a 70 kW motor, equivalent to 95 hp and 16,1 kgfm. The 37.3 kWh battery guarantees a range of up to 256 km in the combined WLTP cycle, and can reach 380 km in strictly urban use. In direct current (DC) fast chargers, the vehicle is capable of recovering 30% to 80% of the charge in approximately 36 minutes.

Produced at the Mirafiori complex in Turin (Italy), the T03 LCV maintains technology items such as a digital panel, 10.1-inch multimedia center and 4G connectivity with remote updates. The safety package includes a reversing camera and driving assistance systems (ADAS). Sales in Europe begin in April, with deliveries expected in summer 2026. The starting price, considering local incentives, is 14,590 euros (approximately R$ 85 thousand).
