The trio of custom sports cars will be auctioned to raise funds for charities in the United States
Porsche and Pixar celebrated 20 years of partnership with the creation of three exclusive versions of the 911 inspired by the protagonists of Toy Story. Developed by the Sonderwunsch division, responsible for the German manufacturer’s most special customization projects, the models will be sold in a charity action in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The trio consists of a Woody-inspired 911 Carrera T, a Jessie-based 911 Targa 4 GTS and a dedicated 911 GT3 RS Each car received unique elements created especially to represent the characters.

The highlight is Woody’s model, which was given a blue paint job capable of reproducing the look and texture of worn jeans. To create the effect, Porsche has developed an unprecedented technique that uses real fabric in the body finishing process, a solution that can be applied in future projects of the brand.
Another novelty is the exclusive wheels created for Woody and Jessie’s cars. Based on the traditional five-spoke Fuchs design, they received star-shaped center caps, a reference to the characters’ sheriff badge. Porsche claims that it had never developed an entirely new wheelset for such a limited project, but the experience paves the way for future special orders.

The Jessie-inspired 911 also carries subtle references to the character. Its pearlescent white paint refers to the buttons of the cowgirl’s clothing, but it has a curious origin, as the shade was rescued from the 1983 Porsche Gruppe B concept, a prototype that preceded the legendary 959.

Buzz Lightyear’s GT3 RS is the most elaborate of the three. Nicknamed “Space Ranger”, the sports car received a livery composed of ten colors taken from the official Porsche catalog. The work consumed more than 350 hours of execution and brings several references to the character, including elements inspired by his spacesuit. Seen from behind, with the doors open, the visual composition recreates the iconic wings of the space ranger.
According to those involved in the project, the choice of Buzz to represent the GT3 RS was practically immediate. For the Pixar team, the character has always symbolized the most impressive toy in the franchise, making his association with the most radical model of the 911 line natural.

In addition to the visual result, the collaboration reinforces the relationship between Porsche and Pixar, which began about 20 years ago, when the studio sought out the manufacturer to transform Sally Carrera, from Cars, into a version of the Porsche 911.
Porsche and Pixar have not yet disclosed the details of the sale of the vehicles or the amount that will be allocated to charities. The announcement should take place later, taking advantage of the premiere of Toy Story 5 in theaters.
