Designed for extreme expeditions, Mammoth XLE features pressurized cab, anti-contamination filters and perimeter monitoring against intrusions
The American manufacturer Mammoth Overland presented the Mammoth XLE during the Overland Expo, the caravanning fair held in Arizona (USA). Aimed at extreme expeditions and the survival market, the trailer combines high energy range, reinforced off-road structure and an unusual safety package for the recreational vehicle category.
The model draws attention for its features aimed at protecting occupants. The XLE has armored windows and side panels, as well as a surveillance system by night vision cameras with 360º coverage. The perimeter of the trailer is protected by a remotely activated sound defense device, 37-millimeter flare launcher and four bear deterrent systems.

Built on the brand’s TL platform, the trailer has an aeronautical aluminum structure, 2.74 meters high and 56 centimeters away from the ground to overcome rough terrain. The cabin features a pressurized cabin, double air filtration with HEPA technology, reinforced door with multi-point locking and reinforced acoustic insulation.

Energy autonomy is another central point of the project to allow long periods off the grid. The XLE uses a 1,200 Ah lithium battery system, powered by 400-watt solar panels on the roof, in addition to having two independent propane systems and an auxiliary portable generator. The trailer also has an integrated Starlink connection, 12-volt air conditioning, 45-liter internal refrigerator and its own drinking water filtration system.
Among the additional monitoring and survival equipment, the model includes an amateur radio, a compact weather station, a Geiger counter for radiation detection, an exhaust hatch on the roof, upper observation platforms and remote strobe lights.
Produced exclusively to order, the Mammoth XLE is now available for reservations in the United States market with an initial price set at US$ 123.994 (equivalent to approximately R$ 632 thousand in direct conversion).
