Chevrolet's SUV debuts new driving assistants, expands OnStar services and brings improvements for efficiency in urban use
The Chevrolet Tracker has gained new safety, connectivity and efficiency features for the 2027 lineup. The main novelty of the General Motors SUV is the expansion of the driving assistance package, which now includes pedestrian and cyclist recognition in the automatic emergency braking system, in addition to the lane keeping assist.
According to the automaker, the set of technologies is now part of the new generation of Chevrolet Intelligent Driving, the name adopted to identify the model’s advanced driver assistance systems.

The system uses a high-resolution camera, with a 40% larger capture area, capable of identifying different types of pavement and making route corrections in case of driver distraction. The SUV also maintains features such as blind spot alert and tire pressure monitoring in the most complete versions.
The news will be offered from the LT version. Chevrolet says that the update reinforces the Tracker’s proposal within the compact SUV segment, currently one of the most disputed in the Brazilian market.

Another highlight of the 2027 line is connectivity. All versions now have eight free years of the OnStar Basics plan, which includes remote diagnostics and access to the myChevrolet App. Among the available functions are vehicle location, remote door locking and remote engine activation in the higher versions.
Customers will also have up to three months of access to the Protect plan, which offers emergency services, automatic accident response and onboard Wi-Fi.
In the mechanical part, the versions equipped with a 1.0 turbo engine received a Stop/Start system, which automatically turns off the engine in quick stops to reduce consumption and emissions. According to the manufacturer, the feature can improve urban consumption by up to 0.5 km/l.

The 2027 line also debuts the Amber Gray color, replacing the Rush Gray tone.
The SUV is still available with two flex engine options with direct injection. The 1.0 turbo engine delivers 115 hp and up to 18,9 kgfm of torque, while the 1.2 turbo generates 141 hp and up to 22,9 kgfm.
The model is sold in five versions: Turbo AT, LT, LTZ, Premier and RS. Among the equipment available are a digital panel, 11-inch multimedia, panoramic sunroof, induction charger, premium finish and sporty look in RS configurations.
With a length of 4.30 meters, a wheelbase of 2.57 m and a trunk of 393 liters, the Tracker remains one of Chevrolet’s main SUVs in the Brazilian market.
