The new Volvo EX60, the Swedish medium-sized electric SUV, had its arrival confirmed in the Brazilian market between October and November 2026, according to spokespeople for the brand. Imported from Europe, the SUV will debut in the P10 Ultra configuration, with all-wheel drive and an estimated price in the range of R$ 550 thousand. For the following year, in 2027, the automaker plans to expand the line in the country with the arrival of the entry-level P6 and P12 versions, which will take over the top of the model range and may become the electric car with the longest range in Brazil, with 810 km (according to the WLTP cycle).

Performance and ultra-fast charging system

The P10 Ultra launch version is equipped with two electric motors that generate 510 hp and 72,4 kgfm. The powertrain allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 180 km/h. Powered by a battery with a capacity of 95 kWh, the EX60 achieves up to 660 km of autonomy under the European test cycle (WLTP), which corresponds to about 500 km in the official Inmetro homologation.

The vehicle’s electrical system supports fast charging stations of up to 400 kW, an architecture that allows it to recover around 315 km of range in just 10 minutes, or reach 80% of the total battery capacity in 16 minutes.

Structural platform and artificial intelligence integration

Built on the new SPA3 modular platform, the model adopts mega casting technology, an industrial process that replaces hundreds of components welded by a single structural piece injected into the rear section of the chassis, reducing manufacturing costs and weight. With a length of 4.80 m and a wheelbase of 2.97 m, the EX60 exceeds the dimensions of the current XC60, offering greater interior space in the cabin.

In the technological field, the model runs the HuginCore operating system, supported by high-capacity processors from Qualcomm and Nvidia. The SUV stands out as the first series-production vehicle to integrate Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence model directly into the entertainment center, commanding level 2+ driving assistance functions to compete with German premium rivals.
