Fiat has revealed new details of the Grizzly and the Grizzly Fastback, the duo appointed as the official successor to the Pulse and the Fastback. Shown for the first time during Stellantis’ Investor Day, the two mid-size SUVs were created to expand the brand’s presence in accessible family mobility. The premiere is scheduled for the second half of 2026, starting in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with arrival in Brazil in 2027 or 2028.

Both are less than 4.5 meters long and are born on the global Smart Car platform, the same one that Stellantis already produces in Porto Real (RJ) for the Citroën C3, Aircross and Basalt and which will give rise to the new generation of Argo.

The Fiat Grizzly bets on square lines to maximize interior space and the trunk. About 4.3 m long, the cabin seats five occupants with ease and paves the way for a future seven-seat version. The Grizzly Fastback, on the other hand, adopts a more dynamic and style-focused stance, with a sloping roofline and a more fluid profile, on the same mechanical architecture.

Prototypes of the project, known internally as F2U, have already run on the Stellantis track in Betim (MG), where the duo will be assembled for Latin America. The range of engines ranges from combustion options associated with mild hybrids to 100% electric configurations.

For the Brazilian market, the bet falls on the 1.0 T200 engine with a mild hybrid system, calibrated to yield about 116 hp and associated with the CVT automatic transmission. According to Fiat CEO Olivier François, the duo has the mission of putting the brand back at the center of the functional and intelligent SUV market.
