Denza has chosen the Goodwood Festival in the United Kingdom to unveil its most ambitious project: the Denza Z, a 100% electric supercar with which the Chinese premium brand wants to set a new level of performance for the country’s manufacturers and target the most demanding European clientele in sportiness.
The Denza Z is built on the e3 platform and uses a set of three electric motors — one on the front axle and two on the rear — an arrangement that ensures all-wheel drive and active torque vectoring. Even in the entry-level configuration, the numbers are impressive: there are 1.582 hp and 126,4 kgfm of torque. The line is divided into Coupé, Spider and Racing versions, in addition to a Special Edition tuned specifically for the Nürburgring circuit.

Performance follows the plug. According to the brand, the Coupé goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.25 seconds and reaches 300 km/h; the Racing, shod with semi-slick tires, lowers acceleration to 1.96 seconds and reaches 350 km/h. The Special Edition goes further: it exceeds 1,971 hp and promises the same exercise in less than 1.7 seconds. The design bears the signature of Wolfgang Egger, former Audi style boss and with stints at Alfa Romeo and Lamborghini, responsible for a body focused on aerodynamic efficiency — the brand cites up to 1,060 kg of aerodynamic load at 350 km/h in Racing.

To power the set, the Denza Z uses second-generation Blade batteries, with 76 kWh in total and an announced range between 380 km and 410 km, depending on the version. The technical highlight is the recharge: the brand claims to go from 10% to 97% in nine minutes, with a peak of up to 1,500 kW, although the actual performance depends on the available infrastructure. The chassis combines DiSus-M suspension, perforated carboceramic brakes and six-piston calipers at the front and four at the rear. The cabin maintains a 2+2 configuration, but Racing can give up the back seats in favor of a roll cage, and all versions feature configurable synthetic sound.
In the United Kingdom, orders open at the end of the European summer, and the first deliveries are scheduled for the end of 2026. Prices start at 142,900 pounds (about R$ 985 thousand) in the Coupé and reach 172,900 pounds (about R$ 1,19 million) in the Racing. For the other European markets, the brand has not yet confirmed prices, deadlines or the versions that will be offered in each country.
