Arrow Mobility has announced the launch of the Arrow 2, a new electric vehicle aimed at urban cargo transport. The model arrives on the market with technical specifications that position it in the light utility segment for logistics operations and, according to the manufacturer, with an acquisition cost proposal close to that of combustion vehicles.

The Arrow 2 will be offered in two versions, Urban and Urban Lite, both with a payload capacity of up to 1,000 kg and a total gross weight of 2,800 kg. The electric is 4.83 meters long, has a wheelbase of 3.00 meters and a width of 1.94 m (1.71 m without mirrors), dimensions that place it as a compact option for urban centers.

In practice, the main difference between the versions is in the volumetric capacity and battery pack. The Urban version offers up to 7 m³ of charge volume and a 54 kWh battery, with a real range of up to 230 km considering charging and air conditioning use. The Urban Lite has 5 m³ and a 41 kWh battery, with a range of about 170 km under the same conditions.

The mechanical set is the same in both configurations: electric motor with 85 kW (116 hp) of power and 27.02 kgf.m of torque, with rear-wheel drive. According to the manufacturer, the utility is capable of facing ramps of up to 27%, a relevant feature for use in urban areas with irregular relief.

In recharging, the model accepts charging in alternating current (AC) of 11 kW and direct current (DC). In the most complete version, the fast recharge time (20% to 80%) is around 35 minutes in DC, while the Urban Lite takes approximately 70 minutes. In AC, the times are 3h and 2h14, respectively.

The Arrow 2 also brings a wide list of standard equipment, including electric steering, automatic air conditioning, four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, EBD and traction control, as well as electronic stability control. There are also ramp assistants, automatic emergency braking system and tire pressure monitoring.

In the technological package, the model has a multifunctional panel with multimedia center, reversing camera, parking sensors, face-to-face key with start/stop button and cruise control. Among the items aimed at urban safety are alerts for open doors, use of belts and speed limits, as well as an external sound system (VESS) to alert pedestrians.

Access to the cargo area is through two rear doors and a sliding side, a common solution in vehicles focused on last-mile logistics.

With the launch, the company expands its portfolio, which already includes the Arrow One, a larger model with a capacity of up to 2 tons. The vehicle aimed at transporting cargo can be purchased by contacting the brand’s official website .
