Jeep launched its first new model in 5 years, the Avenger. The model inserts the brand in the entry-level compact SUV segment, in which it will compete in the market with VW Tera, Renault Kardian, Chevrolet Sonic, Honda WR-V and, in friendly fire within Stellantis, the Fiat Pulse. The Jeep Avenger hits the market in 3 versions with prices from R$ 114.990 (promotional) to R$ 145.990.

  • Avenger Altitude: R$ 149.990
  • Avenger Altitude with High pack: R$ 124.990 (+ black roof, reversing camera and roof bars)
  • Avenger Longitude: R$ 135.990
  • Avenger Limited: R$ 145.990

The value of the Altitude version is promotional for limited release and divided into 2 lots: 1,000 units without options and 2,000 units with the High package – until 08/18/2026 or while supplies last.

CMP platform and 4×2 traction

The Jeep Avenger is produced in Porto Real (RJ), from the same plant where three Citroën models come from: C3, Aircross and Basalt. The reason is simple: the new SUV will share the same platform with the “French”, the so-called CMP. This also means that it will be the first Jeep sold in Brazil without a 4×4 traction option.

Stellantis’ bet with the new model is clear – to attract new consumers to Jeep – so the bet is a classic look of the North American brand, but in a car technically less sophisticated than the Renegade, although it brings unprecedented equipment to the range, with Matrix LED headlights.

Classic elements of the “Jeep look” are present in the Avenger. The model features the seven slits in the grille (illuminated in the Longitude version) and X-shaped taillights and trapezoidal wheel arches. Also noteworthy are what the brand guarantees are the best angles of attack (22°) and departure (up to 33.9°) in the category, in addition to ground clearance of 221 mm, which, even with only front-wheel drive, qualify the new SUV for small off-road escapades.

Dimensions

Interior space is the weak point of the Jeep Avenger, notably the trunk of only 321 liters in the VDA method – the most reliable.

  • Width: 1,776 mm (without rearview mirror)
  • Length: 4,084 mm
  • Height: 1,583 mm
  • Wheelbase: 2,557 mm
  • Minimum ground clearance: 221 mm

Suspension and brakes

The Jeep Avenger suspension is McPherson type at the front and torsion bar at the rear. The brake is disc on all 4 wheels.

Jeep Avenger engine

In addition to the CMP platform, the Avenger is equipped, for example, with the T200 1.0 turbo MHEV engine. And still with reduced power to enter a more beneficial tax bracket. With a 12-volt mild-hybrid system, it delivers 116 hp of power and 20,4 kgfm (200 Nm) of torque. The transmission is a CVT automatic that simulates 7 gears.

Consumption

The Jeep Avenger has the following fuel consumption averages, according to the automaker itself

  • Urban: 12.7 km/l (gasoline)/ 8.8 km/l (ethanol)
  • Road: 13.5 km/l (gasoline)/ 9.4 km/l (ethanol)
