Despite having a strong focus on hybrids, Toyota launched its first electric car in Brazil. The bZ4X arrives imported from Japan for R$ 419.900 in a single configuration and in a batch of 99 units.

The coupe SUV comes only to be an image car. The model chosen for Brazil is the all-wheel drive, which uses two engines that deliver 343 hp together. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

The battery pack has a capacity of 73.1 kWh, providing 361 km of autonomy in the Inmetro cycle. Performance and range put the Toyota bZ4X in rivalry with the BYD Sealion 7.

Toyota’s first electric car was developed in conjunction with Subaru, to amortize costs. It is the brother of the Lexus RZ, which was launched in Brazil in December 2025.

The 99 units of the Toyota bZ4X sold in Brazil will have two-zone air conditioning, front seats with heating and ventilation, sound system with six speakers and amplifier signed by JBL, 20-inch wheels, complete ADAS package, 360° camera, digital internal rearview mirror and two induction chargers.

The model has a 452-liter trunk with electric opening. Toyota points out that there are physical buttons for the sound system, air conditioning and other essential functions of the car.

The bZ4X is offered in four color options: gray, blue, white and black, the first three with a black roof. The interior is always in dark tones.

The electric has a 5-year warranty with no mileage limit that can be extended to 10 years or 200 thousand km if the revisions are carried out in the authorized network. Revisions up to 60 thousand km have fixed prices, with the first costing R$ 899 and the following ones costing R$ 1.099 each.
