Only Volkswagen does not usually celebrate its own anniversary, the German brand prefers to make editions celebrating the age of its models. On the other hand, truck manufacturers love this type of special edition. We list five national examples:

1. Fiat 30 years

Many criticized the current 50th anniversary editions of Fiat in Brazil, but the brand has always been discreet in these moments. The previous celebration was when it completed 30 years in the country, in 2006, with an optional kit for the Palio, Siena and Palio Weekend in the ELX versions.
This kit added alloy wheels, body-colored rearview mirror and door handles, chrome grille, black coating on the B-pillar, silver interior details, mirror on the driver’s sun visor, exclusive floor mats, front electric windows, height-adjustable steering wheel, fog lights and power steering.
In addition to this edition, Fiat launched the Celebration kit for the Fire versions of Palio and Siena. It added power steering, air conditioning, power front windows, power locks, headrests in the rear seat, retractable belts in the rear, mirrors with manual internal control, wiper and defroster in the rear window and sound preparation. It was such a popular package that it lasted longer in the line and today it is well sought after in the used market.
2. Chevrolet 100 years

In 2025, General Motors celebrated 100 years in Brazil with three different special editions. The first to be shown was the Chevrolet S10, which had a new color, special front bumper and raised suspension with springs and shock absorbers from the Ironman 4×4.
Then came the Tracker 100 years, with light blue paint and based on the top-of-the-line Premier model. Finally, the Onix arrived, which was based on the aspirated 1.0 model, but brought some equipment from the more expensive versions, such as alloy wheels.
3. Ford 100 years

Ford was the first manufacturer to celebrate 100 years in Brazil, in 2019 — just two years before ending local production. The special editions were applied to the Ka hatch and the EcoSport.
Both had the beautiful Belize blue paint, black roof and wheels and seats with exclusive upholstery with a Brazilian flag on the headrest along with the number “100”. Another common detail was the 1.5 Dragon three-cylinder engine and 137 hp, accompanied by a six-speed automatic transmission.
4. Ford Escort XR3 75 Special Edition

At the end of 1993, Ford made a commemorative edition of 75 years in Brazil using the Escort XR3 convertible as a base. The car is easily identifiable by the black paintwork with the underbody and bumpers in light gold.
It came standard with all the items that were optional on the model, such as an electric antenna and radio with equalizer. Only 175 units were made, one for each dealership. Today they are disputed by collectors.
5. Jeep Renegade 10 years

Jeep’s history began in Brazil in 1954, when Willys set up its factory and started producing the CJ. As a brand, it arrived in the 90s, bringing imported models.
The Jeep brand only started making cars in Brazil in 2015, when the Renegade inaugurated the plant in Goiana (PE). In 2025 came the 10th anniversary edition, to celebrate this feat.
This version was based on the top-of-the-line Willys, the only one with four-wheel drive. The changes were only cosmetic, with new stickers and an embroidered logo on the seats. Buyers received a kit with a bag, shirt and other accessories.
6. Volvo FH 40 years

Volvo started producing trucks in Brazil in November 1979, at the plant in Curitiba (PR). During Fenatran 2019, the Swedish brand launched the FH 540 40 Years to celebrate this milestone.
The special edition featured white paint with blue stripes inspired by the brand’s first truck in Brazil, the N10. Only 40 units of this special FH were made.
7. Scania 60 years

Scania was among the first companies to set up factories in Brazil after the incentive to the national industry made by Juscelino Kubitschek. Its plant in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) began operations in 1957 with the L71.
The 60 Years commemorative edition was launched in 2017 for the R440 and R480 models. They came with blue paint with pink stripes, in reference to the iconic 113 from the 90s.
