Vammo has taken a new step in its growth strategy in the Brazilian electric mobility market. Known for operating in the rental of electric motorcycles by subscription, especially for delivery workers and logistics companies, the startup announced the start of direct sales of its vehicles to the end consumer.

The news marks an important change in the company’s business model, which now offers its electric scooters for definitive purchase at partner dealerships. In this first phase, the models available are the CPX and CPX Comfort, with suggested prices starting at R$ 25.990 and R$ 30.990, respectively.

According to the company, the decision meets a demand observed over the last few years by customers interested in purchasing vehicles without the need to hire a subscription plan. The sale takes place in limited edition and the models will be available while supplies last.

Sales network starts in São Paulo

Initially, the commercialization will be carried out through six partner dealerships located in the state of São Paulo. The stores are distributed between São Bernardo do Campo, Mogi das Cruzes, Jacareí, São José dos Campos, Caraguatatuba and Bertioga.

Although the operation is concentrated in Greater São Paulo and on the coast of São Paulo, the company says that there are plans to expand the network to other regions of the country in the coming years.

The entry into the direct sales market represents an expansion of Vammo’s operations, which built its operation mainly through the rental of electric motorcycles for delivery workers. The company stood out by offering a solution that reduces fuel and maintenance expenses, in addition to allowing the quick change of batteries at points throughout its area of operation.

National production and expansion plan

The scooters sold by Vammo are produced in Manaus (AM) through a partnership with the DBS Group, also responsible for assembling Moto Morini motorcycles in Brazil.

The companies informed that there is an investment plan of R$ 300 million planned for the years 2026 and 2027. The investment will be used to expand production capacity, develop new charging technologies and expand the infrastructure necessary to sustain the growth of the electric fleet.

The expectation announced is to reach the mark of 15 thousand motorcycles produced in 2026, reinforcing the bet on the national market for electric two-wheeled vehicles.

Another differential of the operation is Vammo’s own battery swap network. The system allows the user to replace a discharged battery with a fully charged one in a few minutes, eliminating the wait for conventional recharging and increasing the availability of the vehicle for daily use.

CPX Line arrives as a gateway

The models sold by Vammo originate from the Chinese manufacturer VMoto, known internationally by the Super Soco brand. In Brazil, CPX will be the entry option of the line.

The scooter uses a brushless DC electric motor with a rated power of 3,500 watts and a maximum power of 4,700 watts. According to the manufacturer, the set allows it to reach a maximum speed of 90 km/h.

It is powered by two 60V and 45Ah lithium batteries, supplied as standard. With them, the declared autonomy reaches up to 110 kilometers, while the recharge time can reach six hours.

The model uses a combined CBS braking system, weighs 125 kg and has wheels equipped with 100/80-16 tires at the front and 110/80-14 at the rear. The seat height is 925 mm and the wheelbase reaches 1,366 mm.

CPX Comfort bets on more performance

Positioned as the most sophisticated version of the range, the CPX Comfort brings a more powerful mechanical set and additional features aimed at energy efficiency.

The brushless DC electric motor delivers a nominal power of 4,300 watts and a maximum power of 6,100 watts, allowing a maximum speed of up to 100 km/h. Despite the superior performance, the declared range is up to 90 kilometers.

The scooter uses two 74V and 28Ah lithium batteries and has an estimated recharge time of up to five hours.

Among the differentials compared to the conventional version is the regenerative braking system, a technology that takes advantage of part of the energy generated in deceleration to recharge the batteries and increase the efficiency of the set.

Like the CPX, the Comfort weighs 125 kg, uses combined CBS brakes, hydraulic suspension, 100/80-16 and 110/80-14 tires, in addition to sharing the same general dimensions of the platform.
