Shineray has officially announced the arrival of the new SHI 400sc in the Brazilian market. The motorcycle bets on the scrambler style — with classic inspiration and a mixed-use proposal — to compete for space in a segment that is starting to heat up in the country. The suggested price is R$ 24.990 in cash, with shipping and taxes included.

Derived from a project by SWM, which is part of the same group, the SHI 400sc combines retro lines with current solutions. The proposal is to meet both urban use and light dirt road routes, targeting consumers who seek versatility without giving up style.
Visually, the Shinerai SHI 400sc follows the playbook of classic European scramblers, with simple lines, a higher riding position and larger diameter wheels — 19 inches at the front and 18 at the rear. The set reinforces the aptitude for uneven floors, although the main focus remains on everyday use.
Despite the vintage aesthetic, the model incorporates modern items such as full LED lighting and a TFT digital panel.
Engine and performance of the Shineray SHI 400sc
The motorcycle is equipped with a 399.7 cm³ single-cylinder engine, with four valves and simple overhead camshaft (SOHC). The engine delivers 26.5 hp at 7.000 rpm and torque of 3.06 kgfm at 5.500 rpm.
One of the technical highlights is the use of a dry sump with a separate reservoir, a solution that favors lubrication on slopes — a relevant feature for light off-road use. The transmission is five-speed, with a multi-plate clutch in an oil bath and a chain final ratio.
Chassis and structural assembly
The basis of the SHI 400sc is a semi-double cradle type steel chassis. The front suspension uses a conventional telescopic fork with 100 mm of travel, while the rear adopts two shock absorbers, maintaining a simpler and more traditional configuration.
On the brakes, the model has a disc at the front and a drum at the rear, both with hydraulic actuation, in addition to dual-channel ABS — an important item for safety, especially on low-grip surfaces.

Among the standard items, the bike offers full LED lighting The electrical set includes electric start and 12V battery.
