New variants maintain the performance and technical package of the larger bikes, but benefit from a tax incentive to reduce the price
KTM announced two new variants with 350 cm³ displacement engines inspired by the well-known 390 Duke and 390 Adventure. The strategy follows a local tax change and allows the brand to reduce the entry price of the models without changing their main technical characteristics.

The new variants now take advantage of the 18% GST (Goods and Services Tax) rate, which resulted in lower starting prices: INR 2,77,268 (just over R$ 14,6 thousand in direct conversion) for the 390 Duke and INR 2,80,905 (R$ 14,8 thousand) for the 390 Adventure (list values in Delhi). According to the manufacturer, the goal is to make motorcycles more affordable and expand the customer base in the country.
According to the manufacturer, despite the reduction in nominal displacement, the bikes maintain the same performance numbers as the top line, with 41.5 hp of power and 3.4 kgfm of torque. Elements such as chassis, ergonomics, ground clearance and wheelbase also remain unchanged, preserving the dynamic behavior already known from the models.

In the brand’s positioning, the 390 Duke remains focused on sporty urban use, with an agile and aggressive proposal, while the 390 Adventure maintains its profile focused on travel and off-road use. KTM reinforces that the “Ready to Race” DNA has been maintained in the new versions.
The other variants equipped with a 399 cm³ engine are still on sale without changes, including versions such as Duke R and Adventure in S, X and R configurations.
