Bajaj announced that it will now use Pirelli tires on all its motorcycles produced in Brazil. The change is already in effect in the line manufactured in Manaus and is part of the process of expanding the brand’s local operation.
According to the manufacturer, the change follows the increase in the volume of national production and seeks to standardize the supply of components. The adoption of a supplier with an industrial presence in the country also tends to reduce logistics costs and simplify the supply chain.

Before, most of the Indian models left for Brazil with Indian tires of the MRF brand, in addition to Pirelli.

The integration between local production and strategic suppliers is a fundamental step to sustain Bajaj’s growth pace in the country, ensuring greater competitiveness and operational consistency,” Bajaj said in a statement.
Despite the change, not the entire line follows the same pattern: the Dominar NS400Z remains equipped with Metzeler tires (belonging to the Pirelli group).
Tires by model:
- Pulsar N150: Pirelli Sport Demon (90/90-17 front; 120/80-17 rear)
- Dominar 160 / 200 / 250: Pirelli Sport Demon (100/80-17 front; 130/70-17 rear)
- Dominance 400: Pirelli Diablo Rosso III (110/70 R17 front; 150/60 R17 rear)
