Another 200 vacancies will be opened at the Itaúna (MG) unit, responsible for the manufacture of components that supply the Betim plant. The Porto Real (RJ) plant will receive 100 new employees to reinforce the production of the Jeep Avenger, a compact SUV that shares the CMP platform as in the Citroën C3 and Peugeot 208.
According to the company, the expansion follows the arrival of new products and the increase in the production capacity of the Brazilian units. The new Argo arrives to mark the brand’s 50 years of operation in Brazil.
In Porto Real, the reinforcement in the workforce is related to the production of the Jeep Avenger, a model that will be manufactured locally to compete in the compact SUV segment. The Rio de Janeiro unit also celebrates 25 years of operation in 2026. Stellantis also informed that it will maintain an exclusive talent pool for people with disabilities (PwD), as part of its inclusion and diversity strategy.
