Nissan Kait 2027 is up to R$ 10 thousand cheaper and loses two versions

Nissan reduced the list prices of the Kait 2027 by up to R$ 10 thousand and reduced the range of the compact SUV from six to four versions. Produced at the Resende complex (RJ), the model is now offered in Active, Sense, Advance and Exclusive configurations, with prices between R$ 117.990 and R$ 149.990.

The automaker makes a caveat: this is a table repositioning, not a promotional discount. According to the new table, the entry-level Active remains at R$ 117.990. The Sense was R$ 7 thousand cheaper, from R$ 136.990 to R$ 129.990. The Advance had the biggest cut, of R$ 10 thousand, and went from R$ 146.990 to R$ 136.990 – the same amount that Sense asked for until now. At the top, Exclusive retreated R$ 3 thousand, from R$ 152.990 to R$ 149.990.

Range shrinks from six to four versions

Part of the movement is line consolidation. The Sense Plus, which cost R$ 139,590, and the Advance Plus, from R$ 149,890 left the scene — precisely the price ranges that the new Advance and Exclusive now occupy. The two configurations had entered the range in March, when Nissan expanded the offer to six options.

The Kait is the brand’s second SUV to undergo the adjustment in a month. On August 5, Nissan announced a reduction of up to R$ 10 thousand in the 2027 Kicks line, as it celebrated the model’s ten years in Brazil.

A 1.6 aspirated in the turbo

segment The context helps explain the price maneuver. The Kait is a deep restyling of the first generation of the Kicks, kept in production on the old V platform after the Kicks migrated to turbocharging. Under the hood follows the 1.6 aspirated flex engine, with 113 hp and 15,2 kgfm in ethanol (110 hp and 14,9 kgfm in gasoline), always coupled to the CVT transmission and front-wheel drive — a conservative proposal in a category in which the turbo has become standard, alongside Volkswagen T-Cross, Hyundai Creta and Chevrolet Tracker.

With a length of 4.30 m, a wheelbase of 2.62 m and a trunk of 432 liters, the SUV bets on interior space as its main argument. The front features a split optical set and full-LED headlights, with the model name centered on the trunk lid.

The Sense includes 17″ wheels, face-to-face key, reversing camera and six airbags. From the Advance upwards come 9″ Pioneer multimedia with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7″ digital dashboard and induction charger. The Exclusive brings together the Safety Shield package, with a 360° camera, blind spot alert, rear cross traffic alert and adaptive cruise control.
