Chevrolet presented the 2027 Montana line with updates focused on comfort, technology and connectivity, reinforcing the strategy of positioning the pickup as an “SUV with a bucket” — a concept that combines the versatility of the bed with the drivability of a sport utility vehicle.

The novelties are concentrated in the cabin. The range now has a soft-touch finish on the dashboard and rear parking sensors in all versions; the automatic rain sensor is restricted to the top-of-the-line, Premier and RS configurations. Among the accessories, the exterior mirror with tilt-down function debuts, which expands the view of low curbs and obstacles.

According to Chevrolet, the changes came from the analysis of the real use of customers and the intention to bring Montana closer to the SUV experience.

With a length of 4.72 m and a bucket of 874 liters, the pickup maintains its vocation for the city, travel and leisure, with the support of the Multi-Flex system.

Under the hood is the 1.2 turbo flex with direct injection, which yields up to 141 hp and 22,9 kgfm — compared to the 133 hp and 21,4 kgfm of the generation’s debut. The transmission is manual or six-speed automatic. By Inmetro, the manual version does up to 13.7 km/l on the road with gasoline, and the automatic, 13.5 km/l.

The line is sold in MT, LT, LTZ, Premier and RS versions. The entry configuration features six airbags, MyLink multimedia, twilight sensor and bucket guard; The intermediate ones add a configurable digital panel, smart key, automatic transmission and 17-inch wheels. At the top, Premier and RS receive an exclusive look, alloy wheels, blind spot alert and full-LED headlights.

Connectivity is also advancing: the brand now offers eight free years of OnStar Basics, with remote diagnostics and integration with the myChevrolet app, in addition to three months of the Protect plan, which brings together assistance, security and on-board Wi-Fi. The Montana 2027 still debuts the Amber Gray color and replaces the “Turbo” emblem on the tailgate with the name “Chevrolet” in bas-relief.
