The next generation of the SUV will play a global role in Hyundai's strategy, redesigned interior and the possibility of electrification in Brazil
Hyundai has accelerated the development of the new generation of the Hyundai Creta, scheduled for 2029, which will hit the market with significant changes in the look, cabin and mechanics. In addition to occupying a position above the future Bayon in Brazil, the SUV may take over the Kona’s space in some markets and finally debut electrified versions in the national lineup.
New shots have revealed unprecedented details of the interior, including a more technological cabin and a new Pleos Connect multimedia system. The model will abandon the current set of two 10.25-inch screens to adopt a larger multimedia center and a compact digital panel, focused only on essential information to the driver.

Another highlight is the passenger seat with extended adjustment, creating a proposal more focused on comfort. On the outside, the prototype appeared with 19-inch wheels, larger than those used in the current Creta, a concept presented at the 2025 Los Angeles Motor Show.
Under the hood it is not sure what type of engine it will occupy, but it is expected that the model will keep combustion engines updated and gain at least one hybrid version.
Before the arrival of the new Creta, Hyundai is preparing the launch of the Bayon in Brazil. The compact SUV is expected to debut between the end of this year and the beginning of 2027, already with a flex mild hybrid option. Following this schedule, it is expected that the new Creta is expected for 2028 as a 2029 line.
