Caoa Chery readjusted the prices of the Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV and Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV a few days after launch. The brand’s top of the line, the two plug-in hybrid SUVs were R$ 10 thousand more expensive, with the early termination of the debut promotional batch.

With the new table, the Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV goes from R$ 189.990 to R$ 199.990, while the Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV rises from R$ 229.990 to R$ 239.990. Even so, the values remain below those charged by the 2026 line — R$ 219.990 and R$ 269.990. In practice, the Tiggo 7 Pro is R$ 20 thousand cheaper than the previous model, and the Tiggo 8 Pro, R$ 30 thousand.

According to the automaker, demand exceeded initial projections and anticipated the end of the launch offer. In the first week of sales, the two models totaled more than 3 thousand units and revenues of more than R$ 600 million.

The company says that customers who closed a deal during the launch phase maintain the conditions originally contracted. Deliveries, according to Caoa Chery, should take place within 45 days.

In the mechanical set, the two SUVs combine a 1.5-liter turbocharged combustion engine, two electric motors, dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) and a high-capacity battery. The system automatically switches between electric, series hybrid, parallel hybrid and regenerative modes, depending on the conditions of use. The brand reports a combined range of more than 1,200 km.

The readjustment maintains the Sino-Brazilian’s strategy of competing in the electrified segment with aggressive prices, in direct rivalry with BYD and GWM. Even more expensive, the Tiggo PHEV remain below the 2026 line and most of the plug-in competitors in the country.
