To mark its official debut on the Formula 1 grid in 2026, Cadillac has introduced the CT5-V Blackwing “F1 Collector Series”. With production limited to just 26 numbered units, the sedan becomes the most powerful street model ever manufactured by the American luxury brand, serving as a technological showcase for General Motors’ high-performance division.
The performance increase is the result of updates to the supercharged 6.2 V8 engine. Engineers overhauled the supercharging system, installing a new pulley and optimizing the compressor’s air volume. The result is 753 hp and 93,0 kgfm — an increase of 85 hp and 1,9 kgfm compared to the conventional model. True to the proposal of mechanical purism and direct connection with the driver, the edition will be offered exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission.

Track-inspired aesthetics and exclusivity
Visually, the CT5-V Blackwing F1 adopts a monochromatic aesthetic under the “Carbon Flash” concept. The alloy wheels and aerodynamic components are finished in gloss black, while the high-performance braking system is highlighted by the shade of gray. The aerodynamic package in carbon fiber is accentuated by silver details, giving a sober contrast to the bodywork.
The exclusivity of the series is reinforced by the official iconography of Formula 1 and the FIA, stamped in strategic places such as the door sills, the center console and the engine cover. Each unit carries an identification plate that links the vehicle to the brand’s competition project, sealing its status as a collector’s piece.

The official launch is scheduled for mid-2026, coinciding with Cadillac’s first season at the top of world motorsport.
