The top-of-the-line Urban E First Edition model costs more than a BMW S 1000 RR, despite delivering only 37 hp
Brabus is known for its brutal preparations in V8 engines, but recently decided to venture into the scenario of sustainable urban mobility. In partnership with a French motorcycle manufacturer, the preparer unveiled three electric models: the DAB 1a Brabus, the Urban E and the Urban E First Edition.

Although the look suggests aggressiveness, the performance numbers are strictly aimed at urban use. The DAB 1a Brabus delivers 31 hp and a top speed of 130 km/h, with a range of 150 km. The Brabus Urban E raises power to 37 hp and torque to an impressive 475 Nm, with features such as adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes and carbon fiber air ducts for engine cooling.

But what draws attention is the exclusivity of the First Edition, limited to only 10 units. This series brings specific colors such as Desert Sand and Fusion Red, maintaining riding modes that include Sport, Nitrous (for peak power) and Reverse functions.
As expected from a Brabus project, the finish is of high luxury. There is extensive use of exposed carbon fiber, Alcantara seats and CNC-machined levers. However, the cost-benefit ratio is the most debated point: the special edition costs up to € 32.500 (about R$ 182.000).

For context, this figure is significantly higher than that of a 215 hp BMW S 1000 RR. It is clear that Brabus’ strategy is not to compete in raw performance, but to attract collectors and design enthusiasts looking for an electric mobility item with the highest possible level of exclusivity in the market.
