Vehicle inspection has been required for almost 30 years, but it will not be in an election year that it will be put into practice

Suddenly, someone remembers again the vehicle inspection required by our Traffic Code since 1998. And then a bill appears in the Chamber of Deputies for the mandatory inspection of cars over five years old.

Which is nothing new, as it has been provided for by the Code for 28 years. And that gave a lot to talk about, but ended up falling, as always, for the same reasons.

The difficulty of implementing the approved workshops for this inspection or inspection. And, in an election year, politicians do not even think about forcing millions of less favored drivers to scrap the cars that are their work tools.
