It will arrive in May, a smaller Jeep than the Renegade. The Avenger would be the brand’s entry model in the SUV segment and will not even be produced there in Goiana, Pernambuco, but at the Stellantis plant in Porto Real, in the interior of Rio.

With the Avenger, Stellantis has its sights set on the Volkswagen Tera or Nissan Kait or Renault Kardian. It will be 22 centimeters shorter than the Renegade, with practically the same wheelbase and space in the rear seat.

The mechanics are the same as the Fiat Pulse or Fastback, the same mild hybrid system with a 1.0 turbo engine, with an additional lithium battery of only 12 volts. It is the same CVT-type automatic transmission.
