The line also has the new Urban configuration. This is an upgrade in the Sense version, with the inclusion of items such as a reversing camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, with an increase of R$ 7 thousand, but which can jump to R$ 8.750, according to the paint option.
Prices and versions of the T-Cross
The T-Cross 2027 line has seven options, with prices starting from:
- T-Cross Sense 200 TSI: BRL 119.990
- T-Cross Urban 200 TSI: BRL 126.990
- T-Cross 200 TSI: BRL 152.890
- T-Cross Comfortline 200 TSI: BRL 173.790

Eight-speed T-Cross
But the main novelty is the new gearbox replaces the old six-speed automatic transmission in the Sense, 200 TSI and Comfortline versions. According to the manufacturer, the AQ300 box, used in the Taos, improves energy efficiency and reduces fuel consumption by up to 7% when fueled with gasoline and by 5% with ethanol in urban use.

In practice, this means running at cruising speeds with lower revs, reducing consumption. In addition to economy, the eight-speed transmission promises to provide smoother shifts, reduce engine speed at cruising speeds and keep the 1.0 turbo engine with 128 hp and 20,4 kgfm (ethanol) closer to the ideal torque range, favoring resumptions and overtaking.
T-Cross 2027
In addition to the Urban package, the other versions also received updates. The T-Cross 200 TSI now offers a reversing camera, keyless access (Kessy), push-button start, front parking sensors and a steering wheel with premium coating as standard.
In the Comfortline, Volkswagen incorporated new LED headlights with position lights on the bumper, inspired by the European model, in addition to a rain sensor, twilight sensor and electrochromic internal rearview mirror. The Highline and Extreme versions maintain the 250 TSI engine, combined with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2027 line also preserves the already known optional packages, such as Design View, Sky View and ADAS, which add a panoramic sunroof, differentiated interior trim and semi-autonomous features, such as lane keeping assistant, blind spot detector, Park Assist and Travel Assist.
The update comes at a crucial time for the model, which has already accumulated seven years on the market and leads in one of the most disputed segments of the market. Even so, the SUV maintains excellent performance and leads by far among SUVs, in addition to being the second best-selling passenger car in 2026, behind only the Polo Track. In June, the T-Cross registered 11,752 units registered, the highest monthly volume ever achieved by an SUV in the Brazilian market. Since January, there have been 55 thousand licenses and the closest model to the T-Cross is the Tera brother, with 51 thousand units.
