Oficina Brasil Conecta 2026 promotes digitalization in the repairer market

Oficina Brasil Conecta is today the largest national event focused on the automotive repair market. The 2026 edition brought lectures, workshops, tool launches and other news in this important sector, which also benefit drivers.

The event was held at the Transamerica Expo Center, in the city of São Paulo (SP) between July 24 and 26. The 2026 edition was gamified, distributing prizes and benefits to visitors who met some goals.

The public that visited the event could see how the environment of the mechanical workshops has changed. Today, these establishments use technology to diagnose and solve problems faster.

This evolution is necessary to keep up with the advances of cars. In the last five years, cars up to R$ 150 thousand have gained direct injection, turbo, ADAS features and more advanced electronic management, in addition to hybrid and electric models.

The Brasil Conecta Workshop featured practical classes on several of these technologies and also challenged the participants. The 2026 edition was also the first to bring content about the heavy line, which has sophisticated emission control systems to meet Proconve P8.

Application that connects drivers to workshops is launched at the event

Among the novelties presented at Oficina Brasil Conecta 2026, we highlight the iCar application. It was officially launched during the event and seeks to make life easier for the driver when he needs a mechanical workshop.

We spoke with the creator of the app, Michel Dell Vechia, who explained where the idea for the iCar came from. He says he was traveling and his car broke down, as he was in an unknown place he did not know who to turn to.

iCar works as a platform where users can find a nearby auto repair shop, schedule services, or call a mechanic during emergencies through the SOS button. For mechanics, there are benefits such as gaining visibility and being able to maintain turnover in the establishment with new customers.

The creator of iCar reinforced that the platform does not charge a fee from the workshops to be present, registration is free and payments for services are between customers and service providers. The application is the result of a private initiative and has partner brands to remain free.

Brazilian company develops coolant for electric cars

Another launch held at Oficina Brasil Conecta was the additive for Tirreno’s battery cooling system. The E-Coolant was the first developed in Brazil and the fourth of its kind in the world.

The cooling systems of electric and hybrid car batteries is similar to that of an engine. The difference in the Tyrrhenian additive is that it does not conduct electricity, removing the risk of fire caused by the coolant in case of accidents.
