The GAC Aion UT is a compact hatchback, which measures 4.27 m long, 1.85 m wide, 1.57 m high and 2.75 m wheelbase. It is in line with BYD Dolphin, Geely EX2 and GWM Ora 03. A highlight is the 340-liter trunk.
In both versions, the engine is 204 hp and 21,4 kgfm, it is the cheapest car in Brazil with more than 200 hp. The difference between them is in the size of the battery: the Premium uses a 44.12 kWh pack and the Elite has 60 kWh of capacity.
The autonomy of the Aion UT Premium is 253 km, while the Elite can run up to 310 km on a charge, always in the pessimistic Inmetro cycle. Performance also changes, the smaller battery model accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds while the top of the line completes the test in 7.3 s.

The car comes with the vehicle-to-load system, which allows you to use it as a large power-bank and power electrical appliances. The fast charging capacity in alternating current is 6.6 kWh, in continuous it is 64 kWh in the Premium and 87 kWh in the Elite.
The GAC Aion UT’s traction is front-end, like most rivals. The suspension set uses MacPherson at the front and torsion axle at the rear, but the brakes are disc brakes on all four wheels.

The difference between the two versions of the GAC Aion UT goes beyond the size of the battery pack, the equipment package also changes. The Premium model has the following items as a highlight:
This entry-level version already brings some equipment that is not common in Chinese rivals, such as the rear window wiper and the front parking sensor, but it owes the ADAS package that it has in the Geely EX2 Max of similar price. It also solves an old problem of GAC cars, which is the absence of Android Auto in the center.

The Elite model brings a few more luxuries and has the ADAS package as its biggest highlight. It is more in line with the BYD Dolphin SE, see the equipment:
This Elite version of the GAC Aion caught our attention for bringing rare equipment in Chinese cars up to the range of R$ 220 thousand, such as the photochromic rearview mirror. Its ADAS package follows the seen in competitors that bring this set of assistants.
GAC offers an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the car, the battery pack is covered for 8 years or 200,000 km. The color options are White, Black, Blue, Red, Beige and Green, with two color options inside, Black or Beige.
