Change of year/model of the only minivan produced in Brazil gained a new configuration to increase the options of the range
The 2027 line of the Chevrolet Spin has already started to be sold. The year/model change brought two new features: new alloy wheels for the LTZ and Premier versions, and the option of five seats in the LTZ model.
Now, those who don’t need the third row of seats are no longer limited to the simpler LT and 1.8 AT models. In this configuration, the trunk can carry up to 756 liters. The Premier version became the only one sold exclusively with seven seats.

The new alloy wheel has five tighter spokes. In the LTZ model it is all silver, in the Premier it has graphite paint in the center of the spokes and polished edges.

Under the hood is the Chevrolet Spin’s greatest asset, at least for its captive audience: the aspirated 1.8 flex engine. It yields 111 hp with ethanol and 106 hp with gasoline, the torque is 17,7 and 16,8 kgfm respectively.
This engine is from the long-lived Family I, which debuted in Brazil in 1994 with the Corsa. It was updated in 2024 as a new electronic management to emit fewer pollutants. The transmission can be a six-speed manual, only on the LT MT, or an automatic also with six gears.
In the entry-level 1.8 AT version, the Spin already has six airbags, LED headlights, reversing camera, MyLink multimedia center, digital panel and driver’s seat with height adjustment.
The LT model adds a roof rack, electric adjustment of the mirrors and mirrors painted in the color of the body. In the LT with automatic transmission, cruise control and ventilation outlets for the rear seat are added.
In the Spin LTZ, items such as alloy wheels, twilight sensor, seats with hybrid coating (fabric and synthetic material), automatic air conditioning, rain sensor, on-board computer and steering wheel with synthetic coating are added.
The Spin Premier is the only one with an ADAS package, which includes collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot alert and automatic high beams. This model also features an induction charger and seats with blue synthetic coating.
