Made in Anápolis (GO), SUV with the size of the Jeep Commander bets on combustion-only engine and a rich package of equipment
The Caoa group expands its operations in the Brazilian market with the arrival of Changan and begins a new phase of expansion that includes the future operation of the premium division Avatr. The company’s strategy foresees ending the year with 70 points of sale in the country, reinforcing the commercial network to sustain the growth of the new Chinese brand and the introduction of new products.
Changan’s debut comes at a time of consolidation of the operation. According to the company, the Uni-T crossover has already accumulated almost 4 thousand units sold in Brazil. Now, the focus is on the launch of the CS75 SUV, a model that arrives to compete for space in one of the most competitive segments of the national market.

Produced at the Anápolis (GO) plant, the Changan CS75 will be offered in a single version, priced at R$ 199.990. The SUV bets on generous dimensions to attract families looking for interior space and a high level of equipment. It is 4.77 meters long, 2.80 meters wheelbase and trunk with a capacity of 610 liters.
Under the hood, the model uses a 1.5 turbo flex engine, which develops 180 hp of power and 29 kgfm of torque. The mechanical assembly works in conjunction with an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission. The suspension adopts an independent configuration on all four wheels, with McPherson architecture at the front and multilink at the rear. The wheels are 20 inches.
Although the price range puts it in direct competition with models such as the Jeep Commander and the GWM Haval H6, Caoa says that the CS75 seeks to position itself closer to premium SUVs, citing vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz GLB as a reference.

The highlight of the model is the cabin, developed to favor comfort and technology. The front passenger seat has a function called “zero gravity”, with eight massage points, ventilation, heating and a seat belt integrated into the seat structure. At the rear, occupants have backrests that can be reclined up to 32 degrees, as well as seat heating and ventilation.
The 1.14-square-meter panoramic roof has ultraviolet filter treatment, while the sound system brings together 14 speakers and a subwoofer. The panel concentrates three screens that, together, reach 37 inches. The digital instrument panel is 10.3 inches, accompanied by a 12.3-inch screen aimed at passenger entertainment, with internet access, games and applications. The main multimedia center is 14.6 inches.
In safety, the CS75 features an ADAS package with 11 driving assistance functions and a camera system with 540-degree vision. The model will be sold in black, white and gray and will have a warranty of seven years or 150 thousand kilometers.
