Royal Enfield announced this Monday (27), Motorcyclist’s Day, an important change in the plans to review its motorcycles in Brazil. As of today, the first revision of the brand’s models is now at 1,000 km and, for most motorcycles, there was a considerable reduction, of up to 34%, in the value of these periodic maintenances.
The news was announced at a press conference by the manufacturer, which clarified that the change is valid for all customers who received their motorcycles from this Motorcyclist’s Day, July 27. Other owners follow a similar pattern, but still under guidance from the old service dates and mileages.

The main point of the novelty is the first revision of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Brazil to be with 1,000 km. Before, this first scheduled maintenance was done at 500 km, which greatly displeased consumers, since, shortly after purchasing the motorcycle, it was already necessary to return to the store to perform maintenance. The fact that the brand is also the only one in Brazil to perform the service in such a short interval was also annoying.
The reduction in the prices of scheduled revisions was another change that came positively on this special day for lovers of two wheels. Among the models that recorded the highest percentages of reduction are Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and Classic 650, which had a drop of 34%. The Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450 engine sisters also stand out, with a 32% reduction in their overhaul plans.

Brand justification
Asked by AutoPapo during the press conference, the executive director of Royal Enfield Brazil, Gabriel Patini, said that this reduction in prices and the increase in mileage of the first service came after many studies and engineering tests. The executive also said that the manufacturer has been listening to the needs of its customers and dealers, which contributed significantly to the decision.
“When we analyze the cost of ownership of a motorcycle, we don’t just look at the acquisition price. The scheduled review plays a fundamental role in this equation. This new plan makes the experience of owning a Royal Enfield even more attractive for those who use the motorcycle both on a daily basis and for travel and leisure,” said Patini in an official statement from the brand.
According to the executive and Royal Enfield, no technical changes were made to the bikes. Not even the lubricating oils have changed. The point that allowed this update is in research and engineering.

The manufacturer claims to have carried out several tests on each model, which allowed it to extend the interval for oil changes in the first service.
For the decrease in prices, the Indian says that the optimization of the service plan was fundamental.
Included in the new Royal Enfield revision plan
The new revision plan will apply to all Royal Enfield zero-kilometer motorcycles delivered from July 27, 2026. Units delivered from July 1, 2026 will also be included in the new maintenance plan, as long as they have not carried out the first review within the old plan, of 500 km or 45 days.
